Performance Lab + Workshop: What the Voice Wants

This event is no longer available.

Join us for a workshop on “What the Voice Wants”, which will take a side glance at singing through embodied exercises and experiments facilitated by Rachel Austin (Performance Lab+Workshop director).

Meet other experimenters and expand your performance awareness and practice. Time to get your Experimental Works-in-Progress ready for September’s space for showing, with the option for feedback.

What is experimental art? Art new-to-you that doesn’t draw on conventional/traditional means or goals for creating. You may not have a frame of reference for what you’re creating. You may be creating experimental work from music, dance, theater, drag, sound, or film.

This is a “pay what you can” event (suggested donation $20)
