Camp Shenandoah Zombie Run

The Shenandoah Zombie Run combines trail running, Halloween fun, and a little zombie survival. Participants can register as either "Alive" runners or "Zombies."

Alive runners will attempt to complete the course while avoiding zombies along the trail. Zombie participants get to take on the role of the undead and chase the runners. Participants will have three flags representing their lives, adding an extra challenge and plenty of fun along the course. Typically, if a person does not want to be chased and in just for the fun, they register as a “Zombie”. Then again, we have some zombies that definitely want to chase down the “Alive” runners.

The event is family-friendly and welcomes runners, walkers, trail-running enthusiasts, Scouts, families, and anyone looking for a fun Halloween morning adventure in the Shenandoah Valley.

Our race co-directors are members of the Staunton Road Runners and are active participants in local trail races, including CATS races, so this event is being designed by people who know and love the local running community. We are also partnering with Sole Focus Running in town to host as our location for Packet Pickups.
