Wide open spaces
Thanks to Staunton’s central location between Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, there’s more than one way to enjoy nature’s beauty. Drift along “America’s Favorite Drive” while soaking up the stunning views. Stop at one (or a few) of the 69 different scenic overlooks along Skyline Drive–a 105-mile long public road. If taking it all in by foot is more your speed, we’re home to over 500 miles of hiking trails. Come for the views, and stay for the charm that is the Queen City.
