Holiday Workshop Series

Join us for the Holiday Workshop Series at the Frontier Culture Museum, where our beloved adult holiday workshops return! Immerse yourself in holiday traditions from various countries and time periods each week. Participants aged 16 and up can look forward to creating festive decor and treats, starting with an English Ivy and Holly Wreath Workshop on November 28th, exploring 17th century England. Next, on December 5th, learn about 18th century German holiday customs while painting a traditional Springerle cookie. On December 12th, take part in making a pomander inspired by 1850s Virginia, and finish off the series on December 19th by crafting lebkuchen dough in celebration of the 1820s. Each workshop runs at 11:00 am, and tickets are $25 per person, available now with limited spaces. Children are welcome with a paid adult. Discover the festive spirit and enhance your knowledge of American folk culture blending European, African, and indigenous influences at the Frontier Culture Museum.
