Open Waltz Nights at Queen City Music Studios with Live Music: 3rd Tuesdays

Join us for the monthly Open Waltz Nights at Queen City Music Studios every 3rd Tuesday! This welcoming event features live music, creating a warm atmosphere where all are encouraged to dance, regardless of skill level. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to try it out, you’ll enjoy lively tunes and friendly faces. On October 20th, the event will feature Doug Sheridan on fiddle, Rae Kasdan on piano, and special guest Chloe Hellerman on flute and whistle, bringing together decades of Irish music expertise. Doors open at 6:45 PM, and casual rotating partner dancing is customary throughout the evening. Dress comfortably, bring your dancing shoes, and come alone or with others—everyone is welcome, including families (kids under 12 get in free!). Admission is $10-20, with proceeds supporting the musicians and the mission of Queen City Music Studios. Located in historic Downtown Staunton, the studio serves as a hub for music education, offering private lessons and workshops alongside community events. Don’t miss out on an evening filled with music, dance, and community spirit!
