QCMS Presents: Bluegrass Jam Monthly on 2nd Sundays co-hosted by Don & Martha

Join us for the QCMS Bluegrass Jam, a vibrant monthly event held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, co-hosted by the talented Don DePoy and Martha Hills at Queen City Music Studios. From 2-5 PM, attendees can enjoy an afternoon filled with toe-tapping bluegrass, starting with an hour of slower tempos for beginners, followed by faster-paced songs for seasoned players. This Community Music Gathering is open to everyone, whether you play an instrument or simply love music, and encourages participation in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Donations are appreciated on a sliding scale to support QCMS’s mission of fostering musical talent. Don and Martha, both dedicated to authentic Appalachian music, bring a wealth of experience and a variety of instruments, making each jam session unique with engaging stories and sing-along favorites. Queen City Music Studios, founded in 2015, serves as a hub for music education and community gatherings, offering lessons, workshops, and events for all ages and skill levels. Join us for good vibes, great music, and an opportunity to connect with fellow music lovers—your musical journey awaits!
