Science Talk! Rare and Unique Plants of Augusta County and the Central Appalachian Mountains with Chris Ludwig and Gary Fleming

Chris Ludwig, former Chief Biologist for the State of Virginia, and Gary P. Fleming, Ecologist Emeritus with the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation Division of Natural Heritage, will give a Science Talk about the Rare and Unique Plants of Augusta County and the Central Appalachian Mountains in Virginia Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 @ 7 PM Historic Wayne Theatre Stay tuned for more information closer to the date. The Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro presents “Science Talks” in partnership with the Virginia Museum of Natural History as part of its Signature Speaker Series. The South River Watershed Coalition is a proud sponsor of the Signature Speaker Series. All of these events begin at 7:00 p.m. with a presentation and time for questions and answers.
