Sentimental Journey Big Band at Jazz in the Park

Jazz in the Park Concert Series will kick off their 2026 summer season with The Sentimental Journey Big Band performing on July 9. This is the 38th year of this wonderful annual music series.. great line up of music! This 17 piece Charlottesville based big band will be performing great music from the big band era featuring vocalist Monica Worth & Dick Orange. Come out to enjoy this great concert 7-9 pm at the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand in Staunton Va. Concerts are FREE & open to the public, held rain or shine. Lawn chairs or blankets recommended to stretch out comfortably in this lovely park setting under the trees. (Some bench seating available in front of bandstand). Concessions are available. Family friendly. The concerts will continue with a different top quality professional jazz band every Thursday, 7- 9 pm , July 9 – Sept. 3 . Come out & enjoy all the great music this summer!
