10th Annual Blessing of the Animals

Come celebrate the TENTH ANNUAL Blessing of the Animals!!! FREE & OPEN TO ALL! Bring your dogs on a leash, photos of your cats, horses, gerbils & goldfish. Kick off the New Year by honoring some of our dearest family members! The 10th Annual Blessing of the Animals will take place on January 1st at 2:00 pm at Ashby E. Campbell Jr. Memorial Golf Pavilion in Gypsy Hill Park, Staunton. Rev. Kristen Barner & Friends, host the event which celebrates and blesses the animals that grace our lives. Featured speakers include national speaker and expert on animal law Sherry Ramsey and Allen Persinger of the Mosby Foundation. Owners may bring well-behaved dogs on leash and photos of pets who remain at home. Pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge will be remembered. There will be refreshments, a caricature artist, and pet treats. The Blessing is free and open to the public.
