Join us for RESIST! a high-energy night of art, music, and creative protest.

Explore powerful all-media works by artists speaking truth to power. Make your own protest poster, enjoy some snacks, and groove to live music and our curated playlist that amplifies the message.

LIVE music from Mike Hasty will add to the event’s creative buzz. Mike, known for his passionate style on guitar and harmonica, plays a vibrant mix of classic rock, country, folk, Americana, and occasional originals. A local artist from Luray, VA, his sound brings both soul and grit to the evening.

Also joining the event are Rafe & Cra, who will bring and play tongue drums—giving kids a chance to try them out during breaks for an interactive, musical experience that’s fun for all ages.

The Battle Jacket Project will be offering a free workshop during the event, celebrating and documenting DIY punk material culture through community-building activities. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the history and spirit of punk fashion while creating something from your own jacket.

In addition to the art and music, advocacy groups will be on site, including the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center and the Democratic Party, offering information and resources on how to get involved in ongoing community efforts for equity, inclusion, and civic engagement.
