Author Heather Cole introduces her new book – Virginia’s Presidents: A History & Guide
This event is no longer available.
Join the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library for a book talk on Monday, February 20th, co-sponsored with the Augusta County Historical Society. Author and historian, Heather Cole, will discuss her book ‘Virginia’s Presidents: A History & Guide’ at 7PM on the 2nd floor lecture room at the R.R. Smith Center OR join on ZOOM.
In celebration of Presidents’ Day, join local author and historian Heather S. Cole for a talk about Virginia-born presidents and the sites that shaped their lives. We will travel the state–from Staunton to Charles City and Wytheville to Winchester–to (virtually) visit the homes and historic sites of the Virginia presidents. Learn a bit about their lives, take a peek inside their homes, and plan your next history road trip.
After the talk, Cole’s new book, Virginia’s Presidents: A History and Guide (The History Press, 2023), will be available for $24. Proceeds will benefit the Augusta County Historical Society and the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library.
