Be a HUNGER HERO: QCMS Benefit for Blue Ridge Area Food Bank

Be a HUNGER HERO and help our neighbors in need during this season of giving and gratitude by supporting the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank! For several years, Molly and her family have performed in an annual Holiday concert to benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank called Christmas at Augusta Stone. They are indeed performing in that concert again this year on Sunday, December 7th as The Queen City Music Studios Family Band with Lorie Lichtenwalner on guitar, Brian Fuller on bass, Tom Espinola on mandolin, and both Molly and her mom Lorie singing. In their new Shop at Queen City Music Studios, the Team is hosting a collection barrel for canned goods, toiletries, and non-perishable food items. With plenty of upcoming Community Music Gatherings, they are hoping to raise $2000 for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and fill the collection barrel to give back to those in need from November 17- December 29th, 2025. For every $1 raised, the BRAFB is able to provide 3 nutritious meals for those in need. Want to help? YOU can show your support by – making a donation to our Hunger Heros Team: www.give.brafb.org/QCMSHungerHeros – attending the Christmas at Augusta Stone benefit concert – bringing items to donate to the collection barrel To donate online, the process is fast, easy, and secure… and you can be sure that your gift will benefit a great cause! More About QCMS: Queen City Music Studios began as a school of music for learning by ear in 2015, and has expanded over the last decade into a music store and community music hub in Downtown Staunton, VA hosting community jams, workshops, special events, and music gatherings. With a mission of #makingmusicmakers, the music school offers lessons and group classes for all ages, styles, and levels of music for both learning by ear, and through traditional notation with over a dozen teachers. “We have felt so much support from our community over the years and in the recent expansion to the 1st floor storefront in Downtown Staunton, and we are honored to help nourish our students, guests, and ourselves through music.” Molly Rose Murphy, Owner
