Featured Artist: Brigitte Huson

Come celebrate the opening of local artist Brigitte Huson’s show “Looking Up”. Brigitte Huson was born and raised in Nashville, TN and received her BFA in Art Education and Studio Art, with a focus on painting and drawing, from the University of Dayton in Ohio. After graduation, she shared her creativity and love for the arts throughout 10 years of teaching elementary art in Northern Virginia. She now lives in the beautiful town of Staunton with her husband, children, and pup. She carves out time for painting and drawing in between caring for her family, playing in the garden, reading, and enjoying all the local community has to offer. Brigitte specializes in creating custom artwork for clients and painting landscapes and still lifes that reflect the color, light, and beauty of the world around her.
