First Friday: Featured Artist Opening Reception – Vanna Lam

Vanna, a seasoned artist based in Richmond, VA, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University before embarking on a successful career at Old World Prints. Initially a hand-colored watercolorist, she transitioned into an Embellished Licensed Artist, contributing to collections distributed by World Art Group. Her designs adorn spaces globally, from retail stores like Target to private residences and hotels. Alongside her licensed work, Vanna actively showcases her personal creations at local art exhibitions, drawing inspiration from nature to create pieces characterized by intricate line work and the luxurious touch of gilding with gold and silver leaf.
