SMALL WAYS TO SHARE BIG IDEAS: PRINTMAKING AND RUBBER STAMP CARVING
This event is no longer available.
PART OF OOPS ALL ZINES SPRING WORKSHOP SERIES
Learn how a small print can make a huge impact. We’ll guide you through the full process of relief printmaking — from sketching your idea, carving your own stamp, to making beautiful prints you can share, frame, or turn into your own mini zine!
“Printmaking can be a small way to share a big idea. An idea that can be reprinted once or hundreds of times across different mediums and forms. Making an original design that can be a small addition, an art piece, a story, or even a zine (a self-made art magazine) is the beauty of printmaking. In this workshop we will cover the entire process of relief printmaking; from design and carving, to printing. We will go over ways to incorporate your print into a zine or shared on its own.” – Larrie Lopez (@inkyhilo)
