The Military Service of Staunton-Augusta African Americans in World War I

The Augusta County Historical Society with the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library invites you to an evening with retired Army Colonel Melissa Patrick on Monday, September 18 at 7:00 pm. Ms. Patrick will discuss the lives and contributions of local African American soldiers who served in World War I. Ms. Patrick has spent many years conducting military history research, focusing primarily on the military service of both women and people of color.
