Virginia Scenic Railway

Love trains? The Virginia Scenic Railway offers sightseeing excursions by rail through some of Virginia’s prettiest scenery, including the legendary Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Choose between the Blue Ridge Flyer (eastbound) and the Alleghany Special (westbound). Both excursions are three hours round trip and depart from Staunton, Virginia. Ticket price is $120 and includes tabletop dining service, a full meal and dessert selection, as well as a beverage served in a complimentary souvenir glass.

Trains run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Advance reservations required.
