WWPL Presents Andrei Kushnir: Exhibition & Featured Programs

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum is pleased to present a special exhibit and programs featuring the works of Andrei Kushnir, a renowned American landscape painter known for his naturalistic, realist style. Essentially self-taught, Kushnir began painting in 1980 and quickly developed a passion for capturing the beauty of the American landscape en plein air. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the country and is included in numerous public and private collections, including the Virginia Museum of History and Culture and the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.

Kushnir is a signature member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, the Washington Society of Landscape Painters, and the Salmagundi Club in New York City. He is also an official U.S. Coast Guard artist and the founder of the Potomac River School artists. We invite you to experience his stunning works and join us for a series of special events and programs celebrating his artistry.
